Large amounts of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was interviewed by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications through the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other .
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: “It is crucial that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be hazardous.
“These kinds of items being sold, generally online, have undergone no quality assurance and there can be no warranty about their safety.
“You merely do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not know the impact drugs like this might have on your health.”
